Young musicians face an uncertain period when they leave the security of music school. By offering a performance platform at this critical time, SJE Arts Next Generation Series goes a small way towards helping them become established.
Following a break during the pandemic, we are once again offering a full Series for 2022.

Violinist Elodie Chousmer-Howelles performs Coleridge-Taylor’s violin concerto with Orchestra of St John’s.

Cellist Garwyn Linnell performs with Orchestra of St John’s.
Saturday 28 May 7-9 pm – Young Stars of the Future
Young soloists from the conservatoires perform operatic favourites with Orchestra of St John’s. To include the Finale of Act 1 of Puccini’s La Bohème, Mozart, Bizet, Handel, Gounod and more.
Saturday 25 June 7-9 pm – The Seasons
Violinist Johanna Roehrig joins Orchestra of St John’s for a programme of Vivaldi, Bach and Toby Young (premier).

Sebastian Hill, tenor, and William Harmer, piano, perform Schubert: Die schöne Müllerin (SJE Arts in collaboration with Oxford Festival of the Arts).
