St John the Evangelist is wheelchair friendly: there are no steps on entry, seating is all on one level and the single step up to the bar area is ramped. There is a disabled toilet a short distance from the church.
Wheelchair spaces are generally offered in all price brackets. Since wheelchairs vary in length, we ask that users make contact before arrival to ensure that we have the correct space reserved. Our stewards are always ready to help with seating, so please make use of them.
Disabled parking for Blue Badge holders is often possible in the side roads off Iffley Road, both Marston St and James St are close by. We do also have limited space in a private car park adjacent to the church for which there is a charge of £10. Please contact michele.smith@ssho.ac.uk to arrange this.
For the hard of hearing, the church is fitted with an induction loop. If you require this facility, please contact michele.smith@ssho.ac.uk in advance of your visit, to ensure that the system is active.
