Cheryl Frances-Hoad (Composer)
Cheryl Frances-Hoad is Oxford Lieder’s Associate Composer and she is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at Merton College. In this third and final year of her residency at the Festival, we will hear three world premieres, including her most substantial commission for us that is premiered in today’s lunchtime recital. Ahead of this, she speaks about her musical life and creative process.
This event is a pre-concert talk which will be streamed online for free. In-person, the event is only available to ticket holders for the Everything Grows Extravagantly concert at 13:00.
