Commotio ‘Now We May Singen’
Commotio is thrilled to mark their return to live performance, with a stunning concert packed with festive choral gems, on the eve of Advent.
Bringing to the fore neglected works, such as Howell’s ‘Long, long ago’, lesser known works by Warlock, Hailstork, Whitacre, and Tavener, and discovering newer works by Marsh, MacDowall and Tabakova, this will be a concert of sensational seasonal music.
Whilst Commotio’s Director Matthew Berry is away, Commotio welcomes singer, conductor, and Director of Chapel Music at Somerville College, Will Dawes, as guest director.
