Oxford Art Society Open Exhibition 2022

For sixteen days, the Oxford Art Society fills the SJE cloister with a huge and wonderful Open Exhibition, a show of multi-media work – oils, prints, ceramics, sculpture and more – stretching around the four walls and into the central quad.
Since its foundation in 1891 the Society has been holding an annual exhibition of its members’ work. In 1972 a second type of exhibition was introduced, curated by the Society but open to all local artists. It is from this Open Exhibition that new members are invited to join the Society.
