Fidelio Trio
Beethoven, Ravel and David Fennessy
Music at Oxford presents a concert by the virtuosic Fidelio Trio. The Trio will perform a wonderfully varied programme featuring music by Ravel, Beethoven’s Archduke Piano Trio, as well as a world premiere public performance of David Fennessy’s Piano Trio No. 2 In Memoriam Spencer Boney.
Fidelio Trio was shortlisted for the 2016 Royal Philharmonic Society Music Awards and since their debut at London’s Southbank Centre, they have regularly appeared at Wigmore Hall and Kings Place, at festivals including Spitalfields, Cheltenham, St. Magnus and Huddersfield, and internationally. They are widely celebrated for their ‘stylish virtuosity… instinctive brilliance’ (BBC Radio 3 Record Review) and ‘consummate musicianship’ (The Observer) and should not be missed.
